Once and for all: What's the best song on Born to Run?

Bruce Springsteen's Born to Run is, let's face it, greater than the sum of its parts. The pieces that make it up — specifically, the eight songs on its economical track list — come together in such a way that each manages to elevate the rest into an unforgettable whole.
Bruce famously said that "Born To Run had the feeling of that one, endless summer night. The whole record feels like it could all be taking place in the course of one evening, in all these different locations." And darn if it doesn't still feel like that when you listen to it — in a way, it always reminded me of "American Graffiti," but dragged into the darker, seedier '70s. (And in Jersey rather than California, of course.)
But to paraphrase George Carlin, who once said that by process of elimination someone out there is the world's worst doctor, by the same token one of the songs on Born to Run has to be the best song on the album, right? (And another one has to be, well, the worst, but no need to go there.) That's where you come in. As we get ready to celebrate the album's 50th anniversary Aug. 25, we want to know which song rises to the top for you. (And, for good measure, how you rate the rest of them.)
Take the poll below and we'll share the results as the big anniversary approaches.
