Could it be we’re in the midst of another “Golden Era” for Bruce Springsteen? Coming off his triumphant Broadway run, we’ve seen the release of “Western Stars,” the Bruce-themed movie “Blinded by the Light” (including the heretofore unreleased "I'll Stand By You") and the trailer for the new “Western Stars” documentary (coming to theaters, no less). And all signs point to a new E Street album and tour in 2020. All this from a man turning 70 -- 70! -- on Sept. 23.
It sure feels like there are big things brewing for the average Springsteen fan to be excited about, and we want to make sure you don’t miss any of it, just like we have been since we first launched in 2007. Hence our new Blogness on the Edge of Town website, with a cleaner look, a better archive and -- for our followers in Europe -- none of the GDPR privacy problems that were keeping overseas visitors from accessing our pages.
As always, you can keep up with our posts and all the most pertinent Bruce news and multimedia from other sources by following us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. (Expertly curated, natch.) And to kick things off, catch up with the latest goings-on with an up-to-date news roundup:
